Actor and musician Will Smith
became a millionaire before he was 18 as a member of American hip hop duo Jazzy
Jeff & The Fresh Prince. He moved into acting in 1990. He has twice been
nominated for a Best Actor Oscar, first for the film Ali, in which he played the part of Mohammed Ali, and then for his
rôle in the rags-to-riches tale The Pursuit of Happyness. US President Barack Obama has stated that if a film
was ever to be made about his life, he would have Smith play his part.
